Sisterly Love

AUGUST CHALLENGE FOR C'EST MAGNIFIQUE

My sketch challenge for C'est Magnifique Sisterly love used up some Kaiser papers Ive had in my stash for a while Sweet Nothings and some sweet Prima flowers. Well its not always sisterly love but I took the girls around to the grand lakes bridges and boardwalks they were mucking around being all posey and lovey to one another was cute snapped some pics of them, its not always easy to get the two of them to co-operate with me its I want one on my own as they usually say lol! so I made the most of it.

A Birthday for you

weekend scrapping

A layout I created over the weekend using up the last of Hollys Birthday photo's and some more of my favourite My minds Eye papers.

I used mme papers and used a prima mask and distressed ink the centre background and used transparencies under the photo's, tore up heap of edges and layered the top and bottom. Added some pink paislee embellies and some chicken wire chipboard, and a handmade buttom from purple pumpkin.

ANOTHER FREAKING SCRAPPY CHALLENGE

Thought I would give this challenge a go scrap about a pet, well I did this layout of my cat Casper and I taken on my wedding day well 12 years ago ,although I no longer have Casper he was my favourite pet a real sweety slept on my bed loved to sit beside you on the sofa always wanted to be where you are. But I had to give him away after the pit a patter of little feet came along as Dylan use to torment him and he would scratch, but I had Casper for many years a he was great company but he went to a good loving home where there was no children to torment him. So I used one of Kaisers old range of papers  for this one using up some oldies from my stash some Tim Holtz Distress Inks, some Prima flowers and some chippy bricks which I textured paste them and gave thim a spritz of some Glimmermists colours and a few other embellies too hope you like thanks for looking! cheers

Reach for the Stars

AUGUST CHALLENGE FOR SCRAP THE GIRLS

Well trying to get a few challenges in before I go away to sunny Queensland for two weeks holiday. Over at scrap the girls this month is to use stars on your layout, I used some of my A Piece of Cake designs kit from June as I am a little behind in using some of them, I also used a few other items from my stash. My daughter Alannah went for a day trip to the Eureka Skydeck it was a birthday present from her Uncle Pete a day out with him in Melbourne the Aquaruim and so on, So they did the walk out onto the glass and nothing below she loved it such a thrill seeker and got some happy snaps of the occasion so thought it was a good one to use for this challenge high in the sky! cheers

Autumn Time

August sketch for OAUS

Well sketch challenge over at once apon a sketch for August is your favourite season although I love summer I would have to say Autumn as well. I love how the leaves all fall from the tree's and the pretty colours as they change and fall, I love to see them bare and how they re- shoot and start to bloom again for spring. So my lo I used one of Basic Grey Curio range of papers I did a bit of masking and misting used a bare chippy tree and added some leaves and flower embellies. I took a photo of Holly in Melbourne in Autumn when all the leaves were falling from the trees, she had so much fun putting these big leaves into piles and throwing them in the air. She also wanted to bring a pile of leaves home so she could paint them as well so I guess kids get to have a bit of fun with Autumn leaves as well hop you like thanks for looking cheers!

Well can now post some layouts and off the page I did for Kaiser recently now that it has been released , I really liked this range of paper great for all sorts of photo's a great mens and boys range of papers cheers.
